The National Weather Service issued the advisory because now, sleet and freezing rain is in the forecast for Putnam. There could also be snow accumulations of up to 1 inch.
Temperatures are expected to be in the lower 30s.
Slippery conditions are expected during the evening commute as well as limited visibility. Caution is recommended.
